List of cities in Mozambique

This is a list of cities in Mozambique.

By far the largest agglomeration in Mozambique is Maputo, with a population of 1,810,641 (as of 1 January 2005). Thus, ten percent of the country's population in the capital region focus.

In the following table are the cities of over 20,000 inhabitants, the results of the Census ( Census ) from 1 August 1980 and August 1, 1997, a calculation for January 1, 2005, and the administrative unit ( province ), to which the city belongs, listed. The city ( Cidade ) Maputo is independent and does not belong to the province. The population figures refer to the actual city without suburban belt.
