In the UK there are a number categorizing of names for mountains. These are listed here with a short characterization.

  • Scotland Munros: height above 3000 feet ( 914.4 m).
  • Corbett: height between 2500 feet and 3000 feet ( 762.0 m to 914.4 m).
  • Donald: Mountains of the Lowlands, height above 2000 feet ( 609.6 m).
  • Graham: height between 2000 feet and 2500 feet ( 609.6 m to 762.0 m).
  • Outside Scotland Furth's mountains outside Scotland who meet the criteria for Munros.
  • Nuttall: Mountains in England and Wales, height above 2000 feet, relative height over 49 feet ( 15 m).
