Luv Bug

Luv Bug was an Irish pop band that had its greatest success in the 1980s.

The first single of the band, Red Light Spells Danger by 1984, could be placed directly into the Irish charts. More singles chart listed followed. As the winner of the Irish preliminary group at the Euro Vision Song Contest was allowed to begin in 1986 in Bergen for their country. With the pop song You Can Count on Me, the group not only reached the fourth place in the competition, but also # 2 on the Irish charts, their biggest success.

The band released until the mid-1990s singles, but then with less success.

The members of the band were the brothers and sisters June (vocals), Hugh (bass ) and Max Cunningham (guitar), Ricky Meyler ( keyboards) and Majella Grant (drums).
