Marc Roberts

Marc Roberts ( born June 25, 1968 in Crossmolina, County Mayo ) is an Irish singer and songwriter. He represented Ireland at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1997 in Dublin.

In 1997, he won the Irish preselection for the Euro Vision Song Contest with the composed and texted John Farry song Mysterious Woman. He has appeared as defending the title to land, as Eimear Quinn won the 1996 contest and reached behind Katrina & The Waves in second place with 157 points.

In 1998, he released his debut album. He also works for the radio, for example, in the broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1 Songmakers

In 2008 he participated in the Euro Song, part of the Irish preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest 2008, with the self-composed song Chances. However, not he, but Dustin the Turkey won.
