The Lynnville Township is one of 24 townships in Ogle County in the north of the U.S. state of Illinois.

Geography

The Lynnville Township is located in northern Illinois about 120 km west of Chicago. The border with Wisconsin is located approximately 55 km to the north; the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa, is located approximately 100 km west.

The Lynnville Township is located at 42 ° 01'15 " north latitude and 89 ° 00'08 " west longitude and extends over 90.4 km ².

The Lynnville Township lies to the east of Ogle County and is bordered to the east by the DeKalb County, which already belongs to the Chicago metropolitan area.
