The Scott Township is one of 24 townships in Ogle County in the north of the U.S. state of Illinois.

Geography

The Scott Township is located in northern Illinois. The Township joins in a southerly direction to the suburban area of Rockford, the third largest city in the state. Chicago is located approximately 135 km east-southeast, the Wisconsin border, about 50 km to the north and the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa, about 90 km to the west.
