Marco Nowak

Marco Nowak ( born July 23, 1990 in Dresden, East Germany ) is a German ice hockey player (defender), which is currently at the Nuremberg Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Nowak learned to skate in Dresden and then played in the youth of the ETC Crimmitschau, for the junior team he first in the junior league was in the 2005/06 season on the ice. In the 2006/07 season he played for the young Adler Mannheim in the DNL. After a good season in the DNL record champions DEG Metro Stars before his first missions were aware of him and Nowak joined the 2007/08 season in the DEL, but was first in the junior team, the DEG Youngsters in the DNL and the Regional used was allowed to pass in the DEL.

For the 2009/10 Season 2008/ 09 season and Nowak was equipped with a mining license for the ETC Crimmitschau. After five years with the DEG Metro Stars Nowak joined the 2012/13 season to the Nuremberg Ice Tigers. On January 21, 2014, the Ice Tigers Nowak gave contract extension known for another year.

Internationally

International Nowak stood at the Under-18 World Cup 2008 in Russia in the squad of the German Under-18 Junior National Team.

Since 2008 he has been a regular player of the German U-20 selection and participated with this at the U20 Junior A World Championship in 2009 and the U20 Junior B World Cup 2010.
