Massa Lubrense
Massa Lubrense is a municipality with 14,087 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Naples, Campania region. It is part of the mountain community Comunità Montana Mons Lactarius - Sorrento Peninsula. Sorrento is the only neighboring village of Massa Lubrense. The place was until the end of the 18th century seat of a bishopric.
Geography
The neighboring community is Sorrento. The districts ( frazioni ) are Acquara, Annunziata, Casa, Marciano, Marina del Cantone, Marina della Lobra, Marina di Puolo Metrano, Monticchio Nerano, Pastena, San Francesco, Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, Santa Maria della Neve, Schiazzano, Termini and Torca.

Massa Lubrense is among 4,425 households. Between 1991 and 2001 the population increased from 12,029 to 12,880. This represents a percentage increase of 7.1 %.
