Matthew Langridge

Matthew Keir " Matt" Langridge ( born May 20, 1983 in Crewe) is a British rower. He won by 2011 two world titles and an Olympic silver medal.

Career

Langridge was 2001 Junior World Champion in One. In 2003, he reached the British quadruple sculls the B-final at the world championships. In 2004 he moved together with Matthew Wells in the double sculls at the World Cup in Poznan, reaching the third place, the two were not at the Olympic Games 2004 in the A-final and placed at the end of the eighth. 2005, the two were back in the quadruple sculls, after three A- Final placings in the World Cup took the boat at the world championships in seventh place.

In 2006, Langridge of the sculling boats for Sweep Rowing and rowing in the British eight that finished fifth at the World Championships. 2007 formed Langridge along with Colin Smith a two coxless, the boat won the World Cup regatta in Linz.
