Mnetěš
Mnetěš, until 1922 signified ( German Netiesch ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers south of Roudnice and belongs to Okres Litoměřice.
Geography
The village at the southern foot of the Rip is at Vražkovský creek. Below the Rip is the old sheep-keeper. On the southern outskirts of Mnetěš the route of the D8/Europastraße 55 highway takes you past the next exit 29 " Roudnice " is located in the northwest. Through the town, the railway line from Libochovice goes according Vraňany where there is a train stop in Mnetěš.
Neighboring towns are Ctiněves in the northeast, Černouček in the east, the south and Ledčice Straškov - Vodochody and Vražkov in the West.
History
Mnetěš probably originated in the mid-11th century, its name derives from a locator Mnetěch ago. The first mention of the town was in 1102 evaluated in one of Gustav Friedrich in 1907 in Volume 1 of the Codex diplomaticus et epistolaris regni Bohemiae collection of old and Soběslav II confirmed documents from the archive of the Vyšehrad Chapter, the Friedrich as deeds of Vršovci from the time Bořivojs II could be dated 1100-1107. After eradication of Vršovci by Svatopluk II in 1108, this being in possession of Jarohněv Vršovec appropriated and Mnetis came together with Vrascov that his brother Nemoj had heard the Přemyslids.
1187 was the village Mnetis into the possession of the monastery Doksany and 1226 confirmed Otakar I Přemysl the monastery of his rights. During the Hussite Wars of the Good came to secular owners. From 1483 it was part of Aleš Kozojedy, his son Dalibor was 1498 the support of the uprising in the reign Ploskovice punished with the loss of his property, his honor and his life. 1603 acquired the Prince Lobkowicz scribed to their rule added to Raudnitz. Until the abolition of patrimonial regimes in 1848 remained. 1930 had 737 inhabitants of the village. Until the expropriation and Parzellisierung after the Second World War were the princes of Lobkowicz owner of the goods Mnetěš.
