MTV Unplugged

Many of the Unplugged shows have so far been published not as a recording, or DVD, including concerts by Sting, Paul Simon, Roxette, REM and many others. Others (eg, the aforementioned Oasis appearance ) are only released as bootleg versions.
German artist
- Herbert Grönemeyer was 1994, the first non-English artist who was on MTV (then with a Europe-wide program as MTV Europe ) asked for an unplugged concert. The accompanying album Unplugged Herbert 1995 ( to coincide with a "regular" live album ) published what is remarkable, as Grönemeyer's record company EMI at the time, had shares in the German MTV VIVA competitors.

- The doctors gave on August 31, 2002 at the Albert -Schweitzer -Gymnasium in Hamburg, with the support of the local school orchestra and chor and Götz Alsmann percussionist Markus Paßlick an unplugged concert, under the title Rock ' n ' Roll Realschule as CD and DVD was published. The doctors played their hits alongside a whole bunch of B-sides, rarely played songs, and so far unreleased material and took over a part of the performance (including costumes ) as a program item on the next hall tour.
- On September 1, 2005, Die Toten Hosen in the Burgtheater in Vienna, supported by two guest musicians took their MTV Unplugged on. Approximately 300 tickets for this were freely available and have been sold by Udo Lindenberg's bodyguard Eddy edge in person at the Atlantic Hotel in Hamburg, the residence of the Lindenberg. Guests Clueso, Max Herre, Stefan Raab, Inga Humpe, Jan Delay and many others appeared.
- On the 11th, 12th and 14th September.2013 the Scorpions gave three Unplugged concerts in Lycabettus theater in Athens. The performances on 11 and 12 September were recorded. As guests were, inter alia, Johannes Strate and Morten Harket it. It was the first MTV Unplugged event outdoors.
- On October 8, 2013 Max Herre played in Berlin MTV Unplugged concert. As guests were Dena Joy Lane, Samy Deluxe, Gentleman, Patrice, Afrob, Megaloh, Philipp Poisel and Sophie Hunger with it. The release is scheduled for 13 December 2013.
