Na Dun District

Amphoe Na Dun ( in Thai อำเภอ นาดูน ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the south of the province of Maha Sarakham. The Maha Sarakham Province is located in the center of northeast Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Na Dun borders the following districts (from the south clockwise): Amphoe to the Phayakkhaphum Phisai, Yang Sisurat, Na and Wapi Pathum Chueak in the province Maha Sarakham, as well as Amphoe Pathum Council of the province of Roi Et

History

Management

Amphoe Na Dun is ( tambon) divided into nine municipalities, which in turn in 94 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Dun Na ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นาดูน ), consisting of parts of the tambon Na Dun and Phra That,
  • Hua Dong ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หัว ดง ), consisting of the whole tambon Hua Dong.

In addition, there are seven " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
