Naples Manor is a census -designated place (CDP ) in Collier County in the U.S. state of Florida with 5,562 inhabitants ( 2010).

Geography

Naples Manor is affected by the Tamiami Trail ( U.S. 41, SR 90) and is located 5 km southeast of Naples.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 5,562 inhabitants distributed to 1,430 households. The population density was 3,090 inh. / Km ². 57.4 % of the population were white, 19.8% African American, 0.6 % Native American and 0.4 % Asian Americans. 18.2% were members of other ethnic groups and 3.7% in different ethnic groups. 71.9 % of the population were Hispanic or Latino.

In 2010, children under the age of 18 and 16.5 % of all households lived in 66.6 % of all households with persons at least 65 years. 89.5 % of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring ). The average size of a household was 4.39 persons and the average family size is 4.41 people.

38.8 % of the population were younger than 20 years, 30.3% were 20-39 years old, 23.1% were 40-59 years old and 7.8 % were at least 60 years old. The median age was 28 years. 52.5 % of the population were male and 47.5 % female.

The average annual income was $ 33,500, while 36.1 % of the population lived below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the mother tongue of 20.35 % of the population spoke Spanish 64.16 % and 15.49% spoke Haitian.
