Vineyards is a census -designated place (CDP ) in Collier County in the U.S. state of Florida with 3,375 inhabitants ( 2010).

Geography

Vineyards is affected by the Interstate 75 and is located 6 km northeast of Naples.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 3,375 inhabitants distributed to 2,626 households. The population density was 572 inh. / Km ². 96.3 % of the population were white, 0.9% African American, 0.1% Native American and 1.3% Asian Americans. 0.5 % were members of other ethnic groups and 0.9 % of various ethnicities. 4.6% of the population were Hispanic or Latino.

In 2010, children living in 12.9 % of all households under 18 years and in 62.9 % of all households with persons at least 65 years. 69.7 % of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring ). The average size of a household was 2.00 persons and the average family size is 2.36 people.
