Naples Park is a census -designated place (CDP ) in Collier County in the U.S. state of Florida with 5,967 inhabitants ( 2010).

Geography

Naples Park is affected by the Tamiami Trail ( U.S. 41 ) and is located 6 km north of Naples.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 5,967 inhabitants distributed to 3,299 households. The population density was 1864.7 inh. / Km ². 88.5 % of the population were white, 1.9% African American, 0.2% Native American and 1.3% Asian Americans. 5.4% were members of other ethnic groups and 2.6% in different ethnic groups. 22.6 % of the population were Hispanic or Latino.

In 2010, children under the age of 18 and 24.5 % of all households lived in 25.3 % of all households with persons at least 65 years. 58.0 % of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring ). The average size of a household was 2.30 persons and the average family size is 2.86 people.

20.3% of the population were younger than 20 years, 28.0% were 20-39 years old, 30.6 % were 40-59 years old and 21.1 % were at least 60 years old. The median age was 41 years. 49.9 % of the population were male and 50.1 % female.

The average annual income was $ 42,592, while 11.5 % of the population lived below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the mother tongue of 80.29 % of the population spoke Spanish, 17.94 % and 1.77 % had a different mother tongue.
