Pine Ridge is a census -designated place (CDP ) in Collier County in the U.S. state of Florida with 1,918 inhabitants ( 2010).

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 1,918 inhabitants distributed to 1,046 households. 94.9 % of the population were white, 1.2% African American, 0.1% Native American and 1.3% Asian Americans. 1.3% were members of other ethnic groups and 1.2% in different ethnic groups. 8.0 % of the population were Hispanic or Latino.

In 2010, children under the age of 18 and 36.5 % of all households lived in 23.9 % of all households with persons at least 65 years. 63.7 % of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring ). The average size of a household was 2.32 persons and the average family size is 2.91 people.

21.8 % of the population were younger than 20 years, 13.2% were 20-39 years old, 35.0% were 40-59 years old and 29.9 % were at least 60 years old. The median age was 50 years. 47.6 % of the population were male and 52.4 % female.

The average annual income was $ 84,261, while 6.2% of the population lived below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the mother tongue of 95.81 % of the population spoke Spanish 2.10% and 2.10% spoke French.
