Nate Prosser

Nate Prosser ( born May 7, 1986 in Elk River, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player standing since 2010 with the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League under contract and playing in parallel for their farm team Houston Aeros in the American Hockey League.

Career

Nate Prosser began his career as a hockey player with the Sioux Falls Stampede, for which he was active from 2003 to 2006 in the Junior League United States Hockey League. Then he attended for four years, the Colorado College, for their hockey team he played in parallel in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. In 2010 he was elected to the All- Academic team as well as the second all-star team of the WCHA. Then he received on 18 March 2010 a contract as a free agent with the Minnesota Wild, for which he gave towards the end of the 2009/10 season his debut in the National Hockey League. By the end of the season in three games, he prepared a goal. In the following season the Americans ran predominantly for Minnesota's farm team Houston Aeros in the American Hockey League and failed with the team until the final of the Calder Cup to the Binghamton Senators, while Minnesota only twice in the NHL on the ice cream stand. In the 2011/12 season he ran for the first time on mainly in the NHL for the Minnesota Wild.
