Obersöchering
Obersöchering (also Söchering ) is a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim -Schongau and a member of the administrative community Habach.

Geography
Obersöchering located in Pfaff angle.
There is only the district Obersöchering. Villages are Untersöchering and Obersöchering. Other residential places are Abert Hausen, Egenried, Emmen Ried, Haba Ching, Hachtsee, Moss, Reinthal, Schoenach and Tradlenz.
History
The origin of the village Obersöchering expected to fall in the period from the second half of the 5th to mid-6th century AD. As " Secheringen " the place was first mentioned around 750. Obersöchering belonged to Rentamt Munich and the Court of Weilheim of the Electorate of Bavaria. In the course of municipal reform in 1978 Obersöchering remained an independent municipality in the administrative community with Habach, Antdorf and Sindelsdorf.

On the territory of the commune were 1910 543, 1970 908, 1987, 1064 and 2000 counted 1,363 residents a year.
