Os Amigos

The members were Fernanda Piçarra, Luisa Basto, Edmundo Silva, Ana Bola, Fernando Tordo and Paulo de Carvalho. Tordo represented Portugal at the Euro Vision Song Contest in 1973 and reached the tenth place, de Carvalho represented Portugal a year later and only reached the 14th place.

With the song Portugal no coração, the band took part in the Portuguese preliminary decision for the Euro Vision Song Contest 1977. Each song was sung by two participants, and the audience chose Os Amigos before Gemini, who won the preliminary decision a year later. At the Grand Prix euro vision, the band only reached the 14th place.
