Philippe Boucher

Philippe Boucher ( born March 24, 1973 in Saint -Apollinaire, Quebec ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Buffalo Sabres, Los Angeles Kings, Dallas Stars and Pittsburgh Penguins 1993-2009.

Career

The 1.83 m tall defender started his career with the Granby Bisons in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL, where he was already in his first season became one of the major players, which meant that at the QMJHL Rookie of the Year and the QMJHL he All-Star Game was chosen.

NHL Entry Draft 1991 Boucher was selected as the 13th in the first round by the Buffalo Sabres ( drafted ) and collected in the 1992/93 season first experiences in the National Hockey League. However, it failed to protect the right to play himself in the trunk of the squad Sabres, so he was up again and again used his move to the Los Angeles Kings during the 1994/95 season in the AHL with the Sabres farm team Rochester Americans.
