1994–95 AHL season

The 1994/95 season was the 59th regular season of the American Hockey League ( AHL ). During the regular season, the 16 teams played 80 matches each. Each of the eight best teams in the Eastern Conference and Western Conference then played in a play-off round to the Calder Cup.

Calder Cup play-offs

Mode

For the playoffs, the four teams from each division qualified.

In the first two play-off rounds, the winner of each division were played. Among the three teams who were then still in the competition, was the one who had received the most points in the regular season, a bye to the final. The first two play-off rounds, and the final was played in best- of-seven mode. Only the semi-final was played in best-of -three mode.
