1944–45 AHL season
The season 1944/45, was the ninth regular season of the American Hockey League ( AHL ). During the regular season, the seven teams played 60 games each. The four best teams in the AHL then played in a play-off round to the Calder Cup.

For the play-offs, the four best teams in the American Hockey League qualified. In semi-finals and finals played this from the Calder Cup winner. Both the semi-finals and the finals were held in the best- of-seven mode.
