The 1993/94 season was the 58th regular season of the American Hockey League ( AHL ). During the regular season, the 16 teams played 80 matches each. The four best teams from each division then played in a play-off round to the Calder Cup.

For the playoffs, the four teams from each division qualified.

In the first two play-off rounds, the winner of each division were played. Among the three teams who were then still in the competition, was the one who had received the most points in the regular season, a bye to the final. All play-off rounds, and the final was played in best- of-seven mode.
