Radelfingen is a municipality in the administrative district in the canton of Bern Seeland in Switzerland. To Radelfingen includes the towns Landerswil, Detligen, Jucher, Upper Matt, Ostermanigen, Oltigen (French Ostrangles ) Oberruntigen and Matzwil.
Geography
The municipality is located in central Switzerland and is 20 km away from Bern and 7 km from Aarberg away. The seat of the municipality is located in Detligen.
Radelfingens neighboring municipalities are Muhlenberg, Golaten, Kallnach, barge, Aarberg, Seedorf and Wohlen.
History
In the town is the castle Oltigen, which in the 11th and 12th centuries had its greatest importance. The first mentioned in writing in the 12th century church was subjected from 1958-65 under the direction of architect and sculptor Erwin Friedrich Baumann a total renovation.

The voter shares of the parties at the national elections of 2011 were: SVP 36.8 %, SP 15.9 %, BDP 14.5 %, glp 8.8 %, GPS 7.0 %, FDP 4.8 %, PIP 4.0 %, EDU 2.9 % Pirates 1.2 %, CVP 0.8 %.
Attractions
The most important sight in the village is first mentioned in the 1131 Reformed Church in Radelfingen. The rich medieval frescoes might go back to the Konstanz Canons and Solothurn provost Hartmann of Bubenberg. It is believed that the church was built on the remains of Roman buildings.
