Raimondo D'Inzeo

Raimondo D' Inzeo ( born February 2, 1925 in Poggio Mirteto, Italy, † November 15, 2013 ) was a successful Italian show jumper who was active from the late 1940s until the late 1970s. He was Olympic champion and two-time world champion. Together with his brother Piero, he was the first athlete who has participated in eight Olympic Games, consistently from 1948 to 1976. He is still one of the athletes with the most Olympic appearances at all.

As an officer of the Italian Carabinieri on horseback he rode in tournaments always in their uniforms.
