History

The site was already 776 mentioned for the first time in a document and belonged to the monastery long Unterdießen. The village was part of the Electorate of Bavaria, but formed a closed Hofmark whose seat was the monastery. Together with the monastery Hofmark 1803 was repealed by secularization.
