Robert Huth

Robert Huth ( born August 18, 1984 in East Berlin, East Germany ) is a German football player.
Career
Association
After Huth had begun at VfB Fortuna Biesdorf with the football, he played until 2001 at the 1 FC Union Berlin and then moved to the English first division club FC Chelsea. His debut in the Premier League denied Huth on the final day of the 2001/02 season against Aston Villa. In 2005 and 2006 he was with the English champions Chelsea. A switch to Middlesbrough FC for season 2006/ 07 failed at the first health check, as the club officials in the match against Luxembourg -arrived and again broken during the World Cup injury for a commitment appeared to be risky. On 30 August 2006, the transfer came just before the transfer deadline but still about, Huth moved for about nine million euros for Middlesbrough FC.
On 5 December 2006 he was able to score the first goal for his new employers as well as his first goal in the English Premier League. Despite the hit the game against Tottenham Hotspur lost 1-2.
In summer 2009, Huth moved to Stoke City. The transfer fee was £ 5 million. Huth is so after Dave Kitson and Tuncay Şanlı along with one of the most expensive obligations of the club's history. At the turn of 2010/11 Liverpool FC was an offer in the amount of six million euros for Huth, because they wanted to sign him as a replacement for the injured Jamie Carragher. National
Robert Huth was in 2004 nominated only for the Germany U- 21 before he was nominated after a few months for the senior team.
He made his international debut on 18 August 2004, his 20th birthday, against Austria in Vienna. His first major tournament was the FIFA Confederations Cup in Germany in 2005, in which Huth was used as a regular player at his position as a central defender. After strong criticism of his performance in the opening game itself increased the then 20 -year-old national team and shot on 29 June 2005 in the eleventh international game his first international goal in the 3rd place match against Mexico in Leipzig. He belonged to the May 15, 2006 announced selection of the German national team for the 2006 World Cup. On 20 March 2008 he was nominated for the first time since the World Cup again by Joachim Loew for the national team, but had to cancel due to injury. Others
Robert Huth, son of a motorist and a kindergarten teacher, visited up to the age of 16, the Flatow High School in the Köpenick district of Berlin, where he played with former professional football players Björn Ander son and Patrick Jahn for school choice. In the late 1980s he stood for the GDR TV series Barefoot in the bed in front of the camera.
Of the English fans he is called The Berlin Wall.
