The diocese of Ávila (Latin: Dioecesis Abulensis ) is a location in Spain Roman Catholic diocese based in Ávila.

History

The diocese of Ávila was built in the 11th century and the Archdiocese of Mérida is a suffragan. On February 27, 1120 the Diocese of Ávila the Archdiocese of Santiago de Compostela was a suffragan. The diocese of Ávila was placed under the Archdiocese of Valladolid suffragan on July 4, 1857.
