Rumyana Neykova

Rumjana Nejkowa Dimitrova, born Dschadscharowa (, also written english bulgarian Румяна Димитрова Нейкова ( Джаджарова ), translit. Rumjana Dimitrova Nejkova ( Džadžarova ) Rumyana Neykova, born April 6, 1973 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian rower and Olympic champion in 2008 in the One. She is married to her coach Swilen Nejkow, with whom she has two sons.

Life

In 1990, she occupied at the Junior World Championships in one second place, 1991, she won the title. In the 1992 Olympics she finished with the Bulgarian sculls ninth place. In the following years, she returned to the One. After her marriage with her coach Swilen Nejkow she joined the 1996 Olympics as Rumjana Nejkowa and finished in one eighth.
