Rowing at the 2004 Summer Olympics

The XXVIII. 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens found the rowing competitions from 14 of August to 22 August in the Olympic Rowing and Canoeing Centre Schinias. There were 550 participants, including 192 women and 358 men.

It both races at lightweight were ( men up to 72.5 kg, and women less than 57 kg) down as well as in the open class (no weight limit ) and both Skull ( One, double sculls, quadruple sculls ) and belt (two, four, eight ) rowed.

Kathrin Boron, the most successful rower in the world with four Olympic gold medals, ran her last race. Since this is rowing discipline at the Olympics in the program, always won the German rowing women.
