Elena Georgescu

Elena " Nuti " Georgescu, born Elena Nedelcu, ( born April 10, 1964 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian rower. With three Olympic gold medals and one silver medal in the control woman is one of the most successful rowers.

Career

Elena Nedelcu attended a secondary school in Bucharest when she was discovered at the age of 15 years of Ilie Sarenco, the coach of Metalul Bucharest, for rowing. Later, they started for Dinamo Bucharest. In 1983, Elena Nedelcu the first time at the world championships.
