Elizabeth McCagg

Elizabeth " Betsy " McCagg Hills ( born April 29, 1967 in Kirkland, Washington) is an American rower.

Life

In a family that had a number of rowers grew up spawned, came McCagg Elizabeth and her twin sister Mary early with the rowing in touch.

McCagg and her sister attended Lakeside School, a private high school in Seattle. She then studied at Harvard University and was active in the local rowing team.

During her time in the U.S. National Rowing Team, she participated among others in the Olympic Summer Games in 1992 and 1996 and 2000. In World Rowing Championships, she won a total of five medals. In 1995, she achieved, for example, in the aft of the women's gold.

In 2012 she and her sister from the National Rowing Foundation in the U.S. National Rowing Hall of Fame was recorded.
