Saint-Pardoux-l'Ortigier

Saint- Pardoux- l'Ortigier ( Occitan Sent PARDOS l' Urtigier ) is a commune in the Corrèze département on the western edge of the Massif Central. The municipality is a member of the Association of Municipalities Communauté de communes des trois A: A20, A89 et Avenir. The inhabitants are called Saint- Pardousiens ( iennes ).

Geography

Tulle, prefecture of the department, about 20 km south-east slightly, Brive- la -Gaillarde about 21 kilometers south and Uzerche about 16 kilometers to the north. The church is from the river Maumont, a right tributary of the Corrèze, drained.

Description: The coat of arms is quartered, on a red field in 1 and 4 in the upper blue field edge three golden spurs, the other fields point to a golden blue oblique beam is accompanied by six golden five-pointed stars.
