History
Salt was Frankish royal. It was 741/42 as mentioned " salce " in a deed for the first time and came in the year 1000 and all the house Salzgau to the diocese of Würzburg. The office of the Prince-Bishopric of Würzburg from 1500 belonged to the Frankish Empire circle.
