Serramazzoni

Serramazzoni is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 8099 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Modena in the Emilia- Romagna. The community is located about 22 kilometers southwest of Modena Apennines. Serramazzoni was part of the Comunità Montana del Frignano.

History

The place Serramazzoni is mentioned in 1327 in a document of the city of Modena as Serra de Legorzano.

Serramazzoni maintains since 1994 a partnership with the Hungarian city Celldömölk in Western Transdanubia.
