Simone Stelzer
Simone Stelzer ( born October 1, 1969 in Vienna ), known as Simone, is an Austrian singer and actress.
Biography
After her birth in Vienna Simone Stelzer grew up in Duke castle. She attended the HTL Krems, where she graduated with the Matura in branch restoration.
She began her career at the age of 15 years as a singer, which was founded by Peter Pansky 1984 book " Peter Pan", which made it in 1985 with the single " A Night at Hippodrome " in the Ö3 charts.
Simone Stelzer represented Austria with the song " No more walls " at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1990 and finished in tenth place. The performance was the springboard for her career as a pop singer and actress for her. Since then published eight official albums (excluding Best-of ), first in German rock, then in what was then the fashionable dance sound, since the late 1990s, increasingly in modern pop area. With the song "True Love " Simone achieved a gold disc. She played among others in films like " Cheerful divorced " and "Merry anarchists " in the TV series " hullabaloo ". In 2006 she took part in the second season of the ORF -show Dancing with the Stars. With her dance partner Alexander Kreissl she reached the 5th place.
2007 Simone was seen as a judge along with Toni Polster and Gregory Bloéb in the program It's Showtime of the Austrian TV channel ATV.
Was released in 2007 the single " All the Love", a cover version of the title song " Way back into love " from the movie Music and Lyrics in duet with Bernard Butler.
In 2008 she took part in the Austrian Trials for Euro Vision Dance Contest 2008, but failed.
After separating from her former record label Universal cooking she came in " Gloriella ", the record label of Jack White under contract, who is also her single "1000 times dreamed " composed and wrote the lyrics.
Published in 2009 Ariola Simone Album dawn, which reached gold status in Austria. The album is also available as a double CD. The album was produced by David Brandes.
October 3, 2009 Simone married her Dancing with the Stars partner Alexander Kreissl in Dürnstein. Since then, her name is Simone Stelzer Kreissl. Alexander Kreissl is the son of Schlagerkomponistin Hanneliese Kreissl- Wurth.
