Südharz

The community of South Harz was formed on 1 January 2010 in the district of Mansfeld- South Harz in Saxony -Anhalt through the merger of 13 of the 15 municipalities of the administrative community Roßla - South Harz. The management community was disbanded due to the municipal reform. Geography

The municipality is located in the karst landscape of the southern Harz and named after this geographical region.
