Synchronized swimming at the Summer Olympics
Synchronized swimming is on the Olympic Games program since the 1984 Olympics.
Traditionally, the United States, Canada and Japan were very strong in synchronized swimming, winning all competitions in 1984 and 1996. Since then, Russia has dominated the sport and won all the competitions in the years 2000, 2004 and 2008.
