Talita Antunes
Talita Antunes da Rocha ( born April 29, 1982 in Aquidauana Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil) is a Brazilian beach volleyball player.
Career
Talita Antunes 2001 started her career with Jackie Silva. 2002 won both the South American Championships. With Maria Clara Talita finished in the same year the third place at the U21 World Championships. They also played their first FIVB tournament in their home country with Renata Ribeiro.
After a tournament in 2004 with Tatiana Minello Talita was in the following years, the constant partner of Renata. From 2005 to 2008, the Brazilians were thirteen times on the podium at the World Tour, winning four gold medals at this time. 2005 Talita was honored as a top rookie in the series. At the Olympic Games in 2008, the South Americans reached the semifinals, then failed, however, subsequent to the Olympic champions Walsh / May- Treanor and lost the match for third place against the Chinese Xue and Zhang Xi.
2009 Maria Antonelli was the partner of Talita Antunes. After a 13th place in Brasilia, the two won the same at their second joint FIVB tournament in Shanghai. In the most successful year of her career Talita won with her new partner in addition the gold medals in Seoul, Gstaad and Kristiansand, also reached the final in Osaka, The Hague and Barcelona. At the World Championships in Stavanger, the Brazilians secured the bronze medal after defeating Shelda Bede and Ana Paula Henkel, bronze, there were also at the tournaments in Stare Jabłonki and Åland.
2010
In the first FIVB tournament of the year in their home country occupied Talita and Antonelli only the 17th Place. In the following seven competitions, the South Americans reached the semi-finals each time. In Shanghai and Rome, they occupied the bronze medal, after two fourth places in Seoul and Moscow succeeded in Norway for the first time this year the finals, which was lost to the rural women Larissa and Juliana. There was a fifth place in Gstaad. The first gold medal in 2010 received Talita Antunes and Maria Antonelli in Marseille after having the Austrian sisters Doris and Stefanie Schwaiger defeated. After a fifth place in Klagenfurt, two bronze medals in Stare Jablonki and Åland and 17th place in Kristiansand Open the South Americans succeeded in The Hague, the second tournament win of the year, in the final she defeated the Chinese women Xue and Zhang Xi. This was the successful completion of the Beach 2010 season for Talita and Antonelli, since they no longer participated in the two FIVB tournaments in the fall.
2011
After the fifth place in Brasilia and winning the bronze medal at the Sanya Open Talita and Antonelli occupied more fifth places at the tournaments in Shanghai, and Beijing and Myslowice at the World Championships in Rome. In Stavanger, the two South Americans Ninth were, this was their worst finish of the year. Then they reached the semi-finals in Gstaad, finished fifth in Moscow and won their only gold medal in Quebec City. For these tournaments, the two Brazilians occupied still ranks fourth in Klagenfurt and at the Åland Open and won the bronze medal at the Mazuri Grand Slam and in The Hague.
2012
The first three tournaments of the year were the most successful for the South African duo. While the two Brazilians lost both the finals in the capital city of their home country, as well as the final in Shanghai against the Chinese Xue / Zhang Xi, they won the gold medal at the Sanya Open against the current world champions. In the same season, Talita Antunes and Maria Antonelli Rocha could there still secure third place in Klagenfurt. They reached the semi-finals in Moscow and finished fifth in Poland. Each ninth places they occupied in Beijing, Rome and Berlin, as well as at the Olympic Games in London. At the end of the season, Talita and Antonelli parted.
2013
Since 2013 Talita play with Taiana Lima. On the world tour they finished ninth in Fuzhou ( China). The tournament in Shanghai, they finished with the first place. At the World Championships in Stare Jabłonki Talita / Lima reached the main round, where they did against the Germans Ludwig / Walkenhorst.
