Tie Yana

Tie Yana (Chinese帖雅娜, Pinyin Tie Yana, Jyutping Diep3 Nga5 No5; born May 13, 1979 in Henan People's Republic of China ) is a table tennis player from Hong Kong. She qualified in 2012 for the third time to participate in the Olympic Games.

Career

Tie Yana was born in 1979 in China. She took part in a Universiade in China, but later migrated to Hong Kong, under whose flag she competes since 2002.

Since 2003, she was nominated ( to 2012) for all ten World Championships. With the women's team brought her here in 2004 and 2006 and silver in 2008 and bronze in 2012. These three bronze medals come in double, namely 2005, Zhang Rui, Jiang Huajun 2009 and 2011 also with Jiang Huajun. In addition, it reached 2007 Ko Lai Chak Mixed with the semi-finals.

In the ITTF Pro Tour tournaments she reached in the Grand Finals in 2009 and 2010 in a double each with Jiang Huajun in the final. Also at the Asian Championships, she landed several times on front seats: 2003 semifinals in singles, doubles and mixed doubles, second place in the team competition; 2005 semi-final in the double and win with the team in 2007 and the semifinals in doubles final in mixed doubles.

In 2004 she qualified for the first time to participate in the Olympic Games. Here they reached both the singles and the doubles with her partner Song Ah Sim the quarterfinals. In 2008, she came in a single quarter-finals, with the team they finished fifth.

Activities in Germany

2005 moved Tie Yana of Henan Zhengmei Company in the German Bundesliga club TV Busenbach. She has finished two games.
