Timothy O'Donnell (triathlete)

Timothy O'Donnell ( born October 1, 1980 in Shavertown ) is an American triathlete, triathlon world champion at ITU Long Distance (2009) and Ironman winner ( 2013).

Career

Timothy O'Donnell starts since 2007 for the U.S. national team and he lives in Boulder. In October 2009, he was (pass 3 km swimming, 80 km cycling and 20 km running) in Australia Triathlon World Champion on the long distance of the International Triathlon Union ( ITU). On 1 August 2010, he raced in Immenstadt as the defending champion at the Long Distance World Championship and behind the Frenchman Sylvain Sudrie the Vice World Champion title.

In November 2010 he was in Florida third in the world championship on the Ironman 70.3 distance and in May 2013 he won in Brazil its first Ironman victory.
