2009 Ironman 70.3 World Championship
The 4th Ironman 70.3 World Championship was discharged in 18 different countries from Januar and November 2009 Ironman triathlon racing series in the World Triathlon Corporation.
Organization
In addition to the Ironman race series over 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running is an Ironman 70.3 triathlon half of the classic Ironman distance. In an Ironman 70.3 races are accordingly 1.9 km swim (and thus slightly different from the conventional 2 -km distance of the middle distance ) covered, 90 km on the bike and as the final discipline is the half- marathon route over 21.1 kilometers continuously to cope. The Ironman 70.3 World Championship will take place in Clearwater, Florida rather than in the U.S..
