Tina Manker

Tina Manker ( born March 3, 1989 in Ludwigsfelde ) is a German rower. In 2011 she was world champion in the quadruple sculls.

Career

Manker, 2006 was World Junior Champion in quadruple sculls, 2007, she was behind the Chinese Weiwei Zhu Second in One. 2008 won Manker together with Sophie Dunsing the world championship in double sculls in the age group U23.

2009 Manker entered in the World Cup for the first time in the active class and won in quadruple sculls the World Cup regatta in Munich and Lucerne. The World Rowing Championships 2009, she took along with Sophie Dunsing eighth place in the double sculls. 2010 Manker won with Julia Richter, her club -mate at the rowing club at Wannsee, the German title in double sculls. At the helm European Championships 2010, she met with Britta Oppelt, Carina Baer and Julia Richter in the quadruple sculls, the four German rowers won the silver medal behind the Ukrainians. At the World Championships occupied the four third place behind the boats from the United Kingdom and Ukraine.

2011 Manker won the One and together with Sophie Dunsing in the double sculls at the German Championships. After two World Cup victories in the quadruple sculls Britta Oppelt, Stephanie Schiller, Tina Manker and Julia Richter won gold at the World Championships in Bled.
