The University of New Brunswick ( UNB ) is a university in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. It is the oldest university in Canada, taught in the English language, and one of the first public universities in North America. It has two major campuses. The first campus was opened in 1785 in Fredericton, the second is located in Saint John and was opened in 1964. In addition, the University has two smaller campuses in Moncton and Bathurst, and two local offices in the Caribbean and one in Beijing. The university offers more than 60 degrees on bachelor and master level.
