Valstrona

Valstrona is a municipality with 1269 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Verbano -Cusio -Ossola (VB ), Region Piedmont.

The neighboring municipalities are Anzola d' Ossola, Calasca - Castiglione, Cravagliana, Loreglia, Massiola, Ornavasso, Pieve Vergonte Quarna Sopra Sotto Quarna, Rimella, Varallo Sesia and Sabbia. The patron saint of the village is San Giuseppe.

Geography

The location is situated 27 km from Verbania at an altitude of 475 m above sea level. The municipality covers an area of ​​48.94 km ².

History
