Velemín

Velemín ( German Wellemin, also Welemin, in the 18th century Welmina ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. The village is located seven kilometers northwest of Lovosice and is part of the North Bohemian Okres Litoměřice.

Geography

Velemín located in linkselbischen Bohemian Uplands. The village is from Milešovský Potok ( Milleschauer stream ), a tributary of the Elbe, flows through. South-west rises the Ostry ( sharp stone ).

History
