Vogtareuth is a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim and between Rosenheim and Wasserburg am Inn.

History

The first mention was made in the year 953 with the donation of the local to the monastery of St. Emmeram in Regensburg. 1786 reached the kingdom of the monastery of St. Emmeram the imperial immediacy for Vogtareuth. The office fell in 1803 to the Principality of Regensburg of the former Primate von Dalberg. With the Treaty of Paris of 1810 the city fell to the Kingdom of Bavaria. Vogtareuth was in the course of administrative reform in Bavaria in 1818 an independent political community.

Policy

Mayor Matthias Maier (CSU ), there are four factions in the council: CSU (6 seats), the Nonpartisan voters Community / ÜWG (4 seats), active for our community / non-alcoholic beverages (4 seats) and the civil list Vogtareuth (2 seats).
