Walter Brugna

Brugna Walter ( born January 28, 1965 in Rivolta d' Adda ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.

Walter Brugna was professional racing drivers of 1987 until 1991. His greatest achievement was the victory at the UCI Track World Championships 1990 at the Stayers race of the professionals in the Japanese Maebashi. In 1988, at the World Championships in Ghent, he was third and became Vice World Champion in Lyon in 1989.

Brugna also drove race on the road. In 1987, he won three stages of the Herald Sun Tour in Australia and 1991 three stages in the Tour of Argentina.

Even Walter Brugnas son Alessio (* 1995) is active as a cyclist.
