Louis Darragon

Louis Darragon (born 6 February 1883 in Vichy, † April 28, 1918 in Paris) was a French cyclist.

Louis Darragon first learned the trade of wagon maker, before 1901 finally turning to cycling as a professional. From 1901 to 1904 he raced as an aviator (now Sprint ) under the aegis of Champions Edmond Jacquelin, from then on as a stayer.

1906 and 1907 he was champion of the posts and also several times French champion in this discipline. 1918 accident Darragon deadly during a race in the Paris Velodrome d' Hiver.

In his home town of Vichy, the " Stade Louis Darragon " is named after him, where mainly rugby matches are played.
