Weilersbach is divided into five districts:
- Ehrlersheim
- Mediator Weilersbach
- Upper Weilersbach
- Reifenberg
- Under Weilersbach

Neighboring municipalities are (from north clockwise beginning ): Ebermannstadt, Pretzfeld, Kirchehrenbach, Forchheim, Eggolsheim.
History
Weiler Bach ( 1007-1062 First mentioned ) and Reifenberg ( first mentioned in 1140 ) belonged to the Bishopric of Bamberg, which was in the Frankish Empire Circle from 1500. With the Imperial Diet of 1803, which places came to Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria emerged with the community of 1818 the municipalities of Upper Weilersbach, Unterweiler Bach and Reifenberg. The three independent municipalities joined on 1 July 1970 in the area of reform to the community Weilersbach together. This was the first voluntary association of individual communities to a large village in Bavaria. see also Postal Reifenberg

The local council of Weilersbach has 14 members without a mayor.
The CSU received 59.2 % (750 votes ) of the votes. CDU - Civil Rights unity - Free independent voters 40.8 % ( 517 votes). (As at municipal election on March 2, 2008)
Coat of arms
The coat of arms description reads: Across from silver and red split Spitzenschildfuß in wave cut split of red and silver, the line of division launched a heraldic lily in confused colors, front a silver embattled tower, behind a rooted cutting deciduous tree.
Political Organizations
- Voters grouping Civil Rights Weilersbach, established in Weilersbach in 1977.
- The Christian Social Union, the mayor for the local elections in March 2002.
- On 14 November 2008, the FDP Ortsverband Weilersbach founded.
Life in the Community
Supply
Weilersbach has two banks, a dentist, a general practitioner, two bakeries, a grocery store, various craft shops, four inns, two volunteer fire departments ( with the district Reifenberg ), a kindergarten ( with crèche option) and a primary school.
Clubs
Life in the community Weilersbach is characterized by different clubs. The club with the most members is the SV Gloria Weilersbach with around 600 members.
